Monday, 9/17 - Adobe Soundbooth
Goal: Students will be able to locate and remove excess "noise" from audio
1. Students will review basic elements of Soundbooth (toolbox, bars, effect locations, minimize bars, etc)
2. Students will watch a tutorial on removing sound from a selection of audio
3. Students will discuss the process
4. Students will open a new project and remove sound from an audio clip
Materials needed: computers, blog, Soundbooth, notes
Assessment: evaluate project: students will remove excess noise from a video
Standard - 1.9.11.A: Use media and technology resources for research, information analysis, problem solving, and decision making in content learning. Identify complexities and inconsistencies in the information and the different perspectives found in each medium.
1.9.11.B: Evaluate how the techniques used in media modify traditional society.
1.2.11B - use and understand a variety of media and evaluate the quality of material produced
