Video Project
Prom Video:
Today we will begin making videos for the contest.
www.pullayouee.com
This is a video to encourage students to "think twice" before making bad decision such as drinking.
Since it will be aired during prom season. It is time to have fun and change some lives while you’re at it. The PA DUI Association The PA Association through the U-Turn campaign is challenging you to create a 30-second public service announcement video that encourages others to “Think again” about alcohol use and underage drinking and driving. The best part? You have the chance to win your own personalized U-Turn event! So get going. On the link (above) you’ll find some helpful hints on how to get started and the links to the right give you the nitty-gritty details. So grab your video camera and get going.
The Stop and Glow Tutorial is due on Tuesday, October 26. Please complete and export into a properly assigned folder.
Timeline:
1. Each group will keep a log indicating what each person accomplished each day.
more specifically: don't write- Theresa taped
2. Filming deadline- Round 1 Monday
-While filming, storyboards, description sheets and titles.

Camera Angles and Shots
A day in the life of...
Goal: Students will experiment with camera angles and camera shots
Students will tell a tale using the camera angles and shots referred to on their worksheets.
We will also make objects appear to be moving.
Slanted Table Video:
www.klutz.com/tv
Things are taped to the wall and onto the table to sell the illusion that all is normal. The main character sits on a regular way, but he leans the right way. Then the camera is set at the same tilted angle and Presto! You have a normal view of a normal man sitting normally at a table.
Different object move at different speeds when using fabric or tablecloths. This allows you to create cool effects. Just off screen, a helper will load things onto the table. At the other end, they will catch them before they fall off.
You must use three angles and three different shots in your "Moving Object Show"
